This is a booth for staying. The back rises to around 130 cm in two parts, a firm lower lumbar section and a taller panel above, so guests can sit upright to eat and lean back afterwards. Upholstered arms enclose both ends, each finished with a brushed-brass cap where hands naturally rest, and a brass rail runs along the top of the back.
The seat is deep and generous, with a single cushion edged in ochre piping; the same piping outlines the arms and the seat front. The booth stands on a recessed dark timber plinth, keeping the bouclé clear of the floor.
Where it works. Cigar and whisky lounges with dining, hotel bars, members' clubs and the quiet end of a restaurant where couples or small groups linger. A pair facing each other across a table makes a private bay without any screen.
Options. Bouclé is shown; leather, mohair-effect velvets and wool are equally suited (COM/COL accepted). Arm cap and rail finish (brass, bronze, blackened), back height, seat depth and length are drawn to your plan. For lounge use the seat can drop to 43 cm. Foams and covers specified to meet BS 5852 / BS 7176 on request.
