This club chair is for the bar lounge, the waiting area or the after-dinner corner of a fine-dining room. Its back is channelled in vertical scallops that roll over at the top, its arms curve outward, and the whole chair sits on a brushed-brass ring base with a swivel so guests can turn towards their companions or the room.
The lower lounge seat height, around 40 cm, suits low drinks tables rather than dining tables. Pair it with a drum ottoman or a low stone-topped table to form a lounge group, and with velvet banquettes in the same colour to tie the bar and dining room together.
The frame is hardwood on a steel swivel plate, with a cognac welt on the seat edge. The velvet can be any contract velvet or mohair, and the brass ring can be PVD-coated.
