The Rose & Forest pairs two colours that rarely meet on a contract chair and makes them work through restraint. The inside of the shell and the seat cushion are upholstered in blush pink; the outer shell is a deep forest green, and a fine contrasting welt traces the seam between them.
The inside back carries decorative stitching: vertical lines that meet a stepped, pointed band across the lower back, giving the chair a tailored, almost couture front. The back is a single curved shell that wraps slightly round the sides, so the guest sits in the chair rather than on it. Underneath, a black-stained hardwood frame stands on four tapered legs with brass ferrules.
Where it works. Cocktail-led restaurants, hotel lobby dining and patisserie salons where colour is part of the brand. In larger rooms the two tones can be reversed on alternate tables, or the green kept constant while the inner colour changes by zone.
Options. Any pairing of inner and outer colour in leather, faux leather or velvet (COM/COL accepted); stitch pattern; welt colour; leg stain and ferrule finish. Foam and covers specified to meet BS 5852 / BS 7176 on request.
