The Brass Edge-Guard End traces the whole L-shaped silhouette of the banquette end, from crest to plinth, in a 2 cm brushed-brass profile. It is both protection and ornament: the metal takes the knocks from trolleys, chairs and luggage that would otherwise scuff upholstery, and it draws a fine gold outline that instantly says hotel bar or grand café.
The profile is bent from one continuous length with small radiused corners, never assembled from short pieces, so there are no joints to catch or lift. For a finish that stays even under constant handling we recommend PVD-coated brass; unlacquered brass is available for clients who want a living patina.
It is drawn as part of the end frame so the metal sits flush with the upholstery. Combined with the Stepped Deco End profile it completes an Art Deco room.
