The Stepped Deco End changes the banquette's profile rather than its face. At each end the top of the back drops down by one step, and the contrasting welt runs up and down that step without interruption. Seen from the side, the outline recalls the setbacks of 1930s architecture.
The step is cut into the timber frame, not shaped from foam, so it stays sharp. Lowering the back at the ends also opens sightlines at the aisle, which helps when a banquette runs close to an entrance or the host stand.
Pair it with the Brass Edge-Guard End for a complete Deco detail, or keep it upholstered-only for a quieter version. It works with channel, plain or biscuit backs.
