The shell of this armchair curves from the back round into low arms, so it holds the guest without a separate arm frame. Inside, seat and inner shell are upholstered in a smooth slate-blue leather with a single seam that shapes the back; outside, the shell is wrapped in a tight grey-and-white woven fabric with a houndstooth character. A narrow welt in the inner colour defines the rim.
The mix is practical as well as handsome. Leather is where hands, food and drinks meet the chair, and wipes clean; the woven outer hides marks from bags and passing trolleys. Four tapered legs in black-stained hardwood finish in brass ferrules.
Where it works. Hotel all-day dining, brasserie side tables, and lounge-dining areas where guests linger over several courses. Its rounded footprint makes it a good partner for round tables of 70–90 cm, and it sits comfortably against a banquette run.
